About Rectory Nursery School

Rectory Nursery School is situated in a spacious, period rectory building. It is set within grounds of approximately one acre, overlooking St John the Baptist Church. It has been purposely designed and renovated to the highest specifications to provide the best possible start in life for your child. The nursery whilst in an idyllic location is only a few minutes drive from Corby train station. Our vision is to provide quality care and education in a safe, caring and stimulating environment where children are actively encouraged to learn and develop skills through education and play. We will work in partnership with parents, Ofsted and the Early Years Setting Improvement Officer. We are committed to making the nursery and preschool years a happy and rewarding experience for every family that we serve.

“The best kept classroom and the richest cupboard are roofed only by the sky.” Margaret McMillan (c1925)

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum for children 3 months ‑ 5 years. We will promote equal opportunity and ensure children are respected in their individuality. Children in our care will gain confidence, independence and the best start to early education. At Rectory Nursery School we will aim to create a friendly and homely environment for your child where all children will be treated as individuals. Rectory Nursery School will provide a safe and secure setting for your child. It will provide an opportunity for children to learn through play and education as set out within the guidelines laid down by Ofsted. Rectory Nursery School will care for children aged from 3 months ‑ 5 years of age and will provide a unique, large outdoor natural habitat with age-appropriate playgrounds allowing your child to explore the wonderful grounds of the nursery providing freedom and fresh air every day.
